Fish delivery's are only sent out on the delivery day only which you agree if you give poir notice,if you dont agree a day for delivery within 24hours after checkout we will send the parcel out when we can. please make sure a person is in to collect as failure to be there for your fish will lead to death an we will not consider refunds.

You Should receive a confirmation email once your order is dispatched and in transit.

For next day delivery you must have sent the order by 12 noon. parcel will be sent out if suitable to do so,any orders from wed 12 noon to sun will be sent out on the days mon-wed following.

we will sent parcels out when we can and when you click next day it means next day from when we send it *not from when you order it*

You Must select the correct postal option in the check out. or you may be liable for extra cost,any unpaid custom charges that are missed you may also may be liable for!
Any livestock ordered with the products option we will phone to collect further postage payment or cancel your order to further notice without warning.

Our couriers mainly ourselves for our personal delivery service and royal mail should deliver to you before 1pm or and 6pm the next day in England,Scotland,wales,isle of man.
Island like the isle of wright and isle of man an some scotland island may take a extra day to arrive ,we will pack to the best we can to allow this extra time.

 WE NOW ONLY OFFER DOA FOR NI AND IRELAND WHEN YOUR ITEMS OUR DELIVERED WITH OUR OWN TRANSPORT NOT WHEN OR IF THEY GOT DELAYED BY NO FAULT OF OUR OWN WHEN A POSTAL SERVICE IS USED BY YOUR REQUEST.

POSTAGE & PACKING
depends on the area and postal service within N.Ireland and Irelans,uk,scotland and other will go by weight,otherwise it will be a set charge for delivery.

Note: In the unusual circumstance that your order is late, we are not able to make refunds on carriage or livestock to england scotland and wales,plus any other small islands or ni and ire when a postal service is used. Our carriers do their best to get the packages out on time,an im sure you understand we are not liable when it leaves our store by postal service. 

 DELIVERY
Upon delivery you must check that the goods are not damaged in transit. Check the goods and accept the goods have been delivered in good condition by signing for the delivery Where needed. Note that only an adult over 16 years old must be there to receive the boxes and sign for them.

Check the condition of the fish in their unopened bags and send us a photo if any which are not satisfactory,tho as above if your delivery is late due to no fault of ours we are not liable and by ordering you are agreeing to this.

 Follow our acclimatisation procedure.By making the water temp the same as the qt tank and release as soon as into your qt with light out and covered top of tank to stop jumping,with plenty of oxygen in water.

we are not liable for any loss of fish in your display tank,as all fish should be quarantined after shipping. 

You are responsible for the fish once arrive at your door from our couriers. If you are not in to receive the delivery it will be returned to your local depot, where you will have to collect them yourself.or left on door step or with next door.
in this matter we will not refund for doa at any stage.

Our Fish guarantee is void if you are not in to receive the delivery. Do not order unless you will definitely be in to receive the delivery.

In the unlikely event your delivery is late due to transportation problems, (breakdown, exceptional traffic, adverse weather conditions), please contact us. We will locate your delivery and give you a revised delivery time if possible.

In the rare case the delivery is lost due to our fault we will resend the order at a time to suit you. Please appreciate this rarely happens so be patient and work with us.

 GENERAL ACCLIMATISATION
Open the box carefully.

Pick up each bag and check the fish are OK. They will be stressed at this time so they will probably be lying on the bottom of the bag. This is normal, as long as they are the right way up an showing signs of live.

Turn off your qt aquarium lights.

Place the fish bags unopened onto the surface of the aquarium for 5 minutes.

After 15 minutes the fish should be the same temperature as your aquarium.

Check the fish. Take a photograph if they are not alive. (Email photo to us) for our records an if or when possible will will assist you.

Test your Tank water. There should be no Ammonia or Nitrite in the water at all. There should be less than 40 ug/l (ppm) of Nitrate for tropical, coldwater or pond fish, with levels no higher than 25ug/l for marine.

(there may and can be NH4 in Transit Bags)

Open the bags and roll down the sides so that the bags float unaided.

Half fill a cup with aquarium water and add the water to each bag if you feel this is needed-tho its not!

Let the bag float for 5 minutes more.

Release the fish into the aquarium.
dont use our fish bag water.

Leave the lights off for the rest of the day.and cover open tanks to stop jumping out.

When new fish are added to a new aquarium they may be stressed. When fish are stressed their immunity to disease may be low. Help them by adding an aquarium general tonic such as  Protozin, or General Tonic. Do this especially for mollies or clown loach who are prone to getting whitespot after stress.

ACCLIMATISING - DRIP FEEDING METHOD

Some species are sensitive to small changes in water chemistry so need your aquarium water adding to their water very slowly. This can be done using the Drip Feeding Method. Turn off your aquarium lights. Float the fish bag in your aquarium for 5 minutes. Take out the bag and place it in a jug. Open the fish bag in the jug and place the jug on the floor or on a chair. Take a piece of 6mm airline and syphon some aquarium water slowly into the bag drop by drop. Use a flow regulator to ensure that the aquarium water is just dripping in slowly. Over a period of 30 minutes the water volume in the bag should have doubled. Now pick up the bag carefully and Pour into a net over a bucket an add fish to tank.

ACCLIMATISING CICHLIDS
Before using the guide above, move as many rocks around as possible so that the attention of your established fish is on find for a new home rather than the new fish. 3 days later you can always move the rocks back to their preferred positions. Please take into account that some cichlids maybe lost is these battles for territory. It is up to you to observe your fish and separate some fish that don't get on to avoid them from dying.when this happens will can not refund.

ACCLIMATISING POND FISH
Pick up each bag and check the fish are OK. They will be stressed at this time so they will probably be lying on the bottom of the bag. This is normal, as long as they are the right way up.

Place the fish bags unopened onto the surface of the pond for 10-30 minutes depending.

After10- 30 minutes the fish should be the same temperature as your pond.

Check the fish. Take a photograph if they are not alive. (Email photo)

Test your water. There should be no Ammonia or Nitrite in the water at all. There should be less than 40 ug/l (ppm) of Nitrate pond fish.

We will issue a credit code to replace it the next time you order if we feel its needed or available or right to do so.. 
We cannot give credit codes or refunds if;
There is no photo of the fish
The picture is of a different fish than you ordered or that was sent.
The bag is already opened without picture
There isnt a picture of the fish in and out of the bag and on white paper.
dont bin the fish yet tho,we may ask for more proof that the fish is dead by video or cutting a tail if needed.
The photo is emailed after 5pm and or 2 hours after getting delivery.

We Can Not be issuing refunds for fish stock that die after the time frame,tho we will always work with you to resolve any matter as much as we can.

Although we are confident in the quality of all our livestock, it is not possible to guarantee semi aggressive, aggressive, specialist or marine fish-Please do research before Buying any fish before adding any item to your tank.

These are guaranteed to arrive alive on the time frame by our own drivers only.

Our experience has shown us that guarantees on these fish is not viable. This is largely because the end user has mistreated them by adding them to an aquarium with incompatible species or has not maintained adequate water conditions. We love fish so please research water parameters and fish compatibility before you buy.

In addition test your water to the type of fish you are buying ,we may request this! as in a video form our other.

Please take into account fish will die if not handled or cared for correctly. Please read our acclimatisation guide and care procedures for guide only!

Until redeemed credit codes remain active for the period of 30 days so you have plenty of time to get your replacement.

In the unlikely event that a fish is temporarily out of stock, we will email ,phone or other.you to ask which fish you'd prefer instead. an at times or late notice may have to replace with others,or none at all then you will be refunded back to your card within 3-7days.If it is not possible to get a reply from you we may substitute the fish with another one (another fish you have already ordered to the same value, as the out of stock fish). When completing the shopping cart, please suggest which substitute fish you would prefer, or if you would rather have no substitutes. In this case we can get your first choice fish back in stock and rearrange the delivery at another time or refund.

FISH SELECTION AND SIZING
The sizes of fish described on this site are "average size". We buy fish from our suppliers at the same size described on this website. Fish are not "factory made" and will vary in size depending on the season. When fish are in abundance they are usually sent to us larger than when they are scarce. Therefore sometimes they will be larger than described and sometimes smaller. You will always be paying the market rate of these which continues to be value for money. We will not charge you more when they are slightly larger than described and will not give refunds for fish that are smaller than described. We always try our best to make this as clear as possible.

All fish are identified and described as accurately as possible. Some species however can be difficult to identify when young or change appearance as they get older. We do our best to ensure you receive the right fish.some marine fish may have many name,ps go by latin names only not common, If you are in doubt, please send a photograph in the unopened bag to us to investigate.

TO SPECIAL ORDER UNUSUAL SPECIES
fermanagh aquatics online shop  by Post can acquire almost any rare fish, reptiles or corals. Our core species are the popular ones we hold 365 days a years. But some species may be seasonal of just unpopular so we get these to order. If you buy a fish with a “To Order” status, we will try to get one and sent it to you within 30 - 50 days. Usually we can get the species in 7 days but we insist on fully quarantining them, making sure they are healthy and feeding before sending them out to your door.

REFUNDS AND CREDIT NOTES
Should you cancel your order before the goods have been dispatched you can request and refund-Tho not in case of any pre orders.

In the unlikely event that any fish that are NOT ALIVE on arrival take a photo of them in the unopened bag and out of the bag plus email the photo before 5pm or less than the 2 hours after delivery to us. You will be sent a promotional credit code for your next order if passed.

Any fish that die during QT days/Time in our store that are pre ordered are covered by our Guarantee,tho not after posted.You will be given a promotional code to replace the fish on your next order.And or a refund.

We love fish. Please research your fish and use your information to ensure they are all companion each other. Our guides show you the correct water quality so please test your water. Test the water before you order and each day after they go in your aquarium. Waste levels can change overnight so keep testing for a week.

fermanagh aquatics cannot be held responsible for the loss caused by a purchase.

If fish arrive in less than satisfactory condition, take a photo in the unopened bag and send it to us for inspection. By opening the bag and releasing the fish into your aquarium you are accepting their condition is satisfactory.

 

CANCELLATIONS
Should you change your mind or need to cancel the order, we will refund you on request. Once the order has been dispatched we can not issue refunds. 
we do not take payments by paypal at all so dont ask!

ADVERSE WEATHER AND DELAYS
We can not send out deliveries when there are Weather Warnings or adverse weather conditions. This is mainly due to snow or extreme low temperatures. Heat packs do not work at these low temperatures and the fish will get too cold. In these cases we will reserve your fish and re schedule your delivery at a time to suit you. Please be patient, we want your fish to arrive safely, so waiting until the weather improves is totally in your interest.
